Serious question….. how wise is it to use a ceramic bowl on a high torque mixer with metal attachments?

Coupon code worked for me after selecting the 8.99 shipping. It then discounted the shipping cost.

I'm truly wondering, do the directions in the original post not show up for some?
If so, please send a screen shot of what you see so I can look into this. Thank you

Ours has held up for several years without much of a problem. The only issue we have had was user error in that we chipped one of the feet on the pedestal. Still works, we just keep that foot towards the back when not in use.

I'll stick with the standard stainless steel bowl. I've never seen the stainless steel bowl fail or chip.

I think the issue may be that the "original post" button to expand those details isn't prominent enough on mobile, being more or less just a link easy to swipe over. I'd say making that a more obvious button (without having it take up much more space) could help. That's probably pretty easy to overlook for newer users imo.

What's the benefit to this v.s. metal bowl?

I guess this could go in the microwave (although it probably wouldn't fit well) and could work in the oven (though I don't see much of a use case for that). Tia

Obviously, the stainless that comes with it is the best for most use case scenarios. But this gives her an alternative and it offers some versatility, as well as being a second bowl for $35. I don't really use the mixer, so I am just hoping she likes it. I do know that the ceramic will retain heat/cold much longer than stainless if a recipe calls for it. Happy wife, happy life.

Yeah looks great but no handle doesn't make any sense. The other ceramic versions have it.

I have the same question!!!! Plus it's got to be heavy, and with no handle.

Hard pass.

My wife has had one for some time, no issue whatsoever. Was it necessary? The mixer is on the counter full time, and she hated the look of the stainless bowl. The ceramic bowl she bought was just fine by her.
