Excellent tool. The 'Auto' part is just marketing. You can use this through the aux jack to make a old 'dumb' stereo receiver into a smart one. Quick, easy bluetooth/wifi/smart assistant access to anything that you can plug headphones into.

Second this. I love this thing. For older vehicles that don't have Android Auto or CarPlay but DO have an aux, this thing is actually fantastic.
