Toes, definitely. Midfoot is hit or miss. I officially have feet between normal and wide, and Chucks never worked great for me beyond just lifting weights.

outside of converse, i wear mostly shoes with a wider toebox.
for converse, i only ever buy the malden streets now. theyre my preference for my casual shoes and keep the laces looser and treat them almost like slip ons. theyre definitely a bit more comfortable in width
