Nice to see a new model. I have the dn1080 setup with Sony speakers in a 5.2.2 system. Sounds great. I'll keep an eye on this newer mode for a price drop in the future as my 1080 needs all needs so far.

I'd heard Sony was exiting the home theater segment so glad to see maybe that isn't true or at least the released a newer model as the dn1080 was the only option available for years

According to reviews, yes and the spatial audio experience, with virtual speakers, is supposed to be unequaled at this price point (again, according to reviews).

No, its basic. I just bought this and returned it after 1 day. Wasn't great at all, my old STR DN 1080 sounded wayyyy better.
