I recommend running Samsung's authentication utility as soon as you get it. Some stores (especially Amazon) can have counterfeit cards mixed in with authentic ones.

About that, I recently bought a couple Samsung SSD from amazon and none of them were recognized by the Samsung Magician software as a Samsung drive. But then after googling some people said it's the Magician software's fault. So I don't know what to make of it.

Just an FYI I bought 3 of these from Amazon for my Viofo dash cams and 2 of them failed within 3 months. Write speed went from 40MB/S to 1MB/S and couldn't keep up so the dash came would beep to indicate an error. Replacements seem to be ok so far.

how difficult was the RMA process? over the weekend, had a Sandisk Extreme suddenly enter read only mode and couldn't format, delete or move data. was able to back up and start an RMA. WD/Sandisk replied about 1hr ago to start an RMA but don't want to send in a card with personal pictures or information that can't be deleted before sending back.

was about to order this as a replacement but now hesitant.

Should be a good match. The benefit to these types of cards is the ability to write and overwrite data repeatedly -- they have increased longevity as a result. This is probably one of the better ones that you can get if you plan to write and overwrite often.

Yes and it seems to cope better with GoPro overheating a lot better than my non endurance cards.
