VERY IMPORTANT. I bought this exact one and it turns out this is the WOMEN'S version! It isn't listed as such, but you can tell by the pictures only and when it arrives it has a "women's " tag on it. But it looks like the other colors on this listing are men's. This color is definitely women's though. I returned one, then re ordered and the second one came in the same way.

I am not familiar with this particular model, but in the past packs for women sometimes:

* were slightly smaller than the equivalent model for men;
* had more curve on the straps (to go accommodate the chest); and
* were designed for a shorter torso lengths.

confirmed. the details on zappos match the details on the North face website, except for the weight.

Yup, men's version of the Surge backpack does not come in this color. This is the women's version that is designed for a shorter torso.
