I have this, worked fine (used it once) then left it, with the battery on, standing up on a shelf. Just noticed the other day that the bar oil leaked internally, filled the battery (no idea how it didn't explode) and covered the shelf. I went to take the battery apart to clean the oil out and they used some unknown Allen wrench screws that no Allen wrench out of the six large sets I have fit(also tried every security bit that size, nope). Great..... So, keep that in mind, very messy, and potentially a fire hazard.

I'd suggest two batteries, the motor protrusion on top and auto oiler.
I got mine Prime Day 2025 for $24

I'll stick with pricier DeWalt pruners and chainsaws. Worked reliably for years and use the same batteries.

Yes it's best to use just enough for the job and put a paper towel in the case.

Why will the battery explode if mineral oil gets into it? I actually use this to keep my cheap, used LiOn batteries cool and protect them from fire for my solar battery pack. Others put their CPUs and GPUs in mineral oil for overclocking.

Clean mineral oil in a dust free environment is a fantastic coolant.

I assumed it was conductive, didn't realize it wasn't. Thanks
