Batteries are great. I have 4x, because our vacuum has broken 3x times and Hoover doesn't provide replacement parts, just the entire vacuum.

Wow that's really cheap for these batteries.

The Hoover onepwr stuff is quite good. I hate being in a separate battery system than my Ryobi stuff, but I went to went to one of their "tent sales" a few years back. It was the last day and they were trying to get rid of stuff. I spent like $375 on stick vacuums and lights and a carpet spot cleaner and they gave me 24 x 4ah batteries for free.

If you haven't tried their cordless pet vacuums you're missing out. We have 3, one of the older models and 2 of the newer ones. The older model was very good, the newer one is GREAT.

Agree on the vacuums but with the massive caveat "when they aren't broken".

We had the handle snap on one when picking it up on the stairs, the motor go out on the brush in the replacement, and then somehow the hose that connects the body to the brush head just deteriorated and eventually fell apart. This is in the last 2 years. Each time, Hoover had me 'destroy' the vacuum and then sent me an entire new one. The last one was 2 weeks ago - we got the 'Elite' as a replacement, which is better. But.. just send me a handle, or a hose. I've junked 3 of these now.

I've been lucky enough to not have problems with mine except for the clear trash bin which cracks on the joint. We've purchased a new one since it was cheaper to buy a new one than buy a bin+battery; the original battery's runtime is down to half what it used to be. We're still using the broken bin - now remove the bin and filter while keeping the 'easy access' part closed.

I have like 40 of these batteries just sitting on a shelf rotting. I bought a ton of the vacuums on sale for 50 bucks and got a crap ton of batteries, only use the 4ah max batteries personally bc we use them for work/cleaning a 14 story building.

that said I should try and sell them off for like 5 bucks a piece on Facebook

im banned from warranty repairs, they black listed my name, phone number, address, etc. ive had so many repairs / replacements due to being commercial, but I never said it lol. they eventually said, yeah sir you aren't getting anymore from us again, brb 10-15 replacement vacuumms, they cant handle commercial, but at the 40-80 bucks a pop on sale, worth it.

got a crap ton of them from DTO on a massive pallet sale once. im on like 3 years now at work using them. they last about 4-6 months a piece.
