Am I looking up the wrong thing or is this an insane deal? It's this right? https://www.sixflags.com/magicmou...re/tickets

  • Access to 40+ Six Flags Parks, including Knott's Berry Farm*
  • Unlimited Visits Now Through the End of 2026
  • 1 BONUS Free Bring-A-Friend Ticket†
  • Free General Parking+
  • Unlimited Access to Magic Mountain & Hurricane Harbor
  • No Blockout Dates
  • Admission to Fright Fest & Tricks and Treats+++
  • 10% Food & Merchandise Discounts
  • Bring-A-Friend Discount Tickets
  • Pass Perks**
To me you can easily make up the $75 value in 1 trip. Six Flags Magic Mountain is $50 per day + $35 parking. You get 1 bring a friend ticket, have access to other parks, no blackout dates, discounted food/drinks...

Edit: How do you change the checkout to a different theme park?

Edit 2: Looks like the price changes depending on where you set your "home" park. SFMM is $110 and nearby Hurricane Harbor and Knott's are $110 and $120.

Yeah, I don't quite get it, but I was taking my teenager and friends to California's Great America (the home park in OP's deal link) a few weeks ago for an end-of-summer treat, and it was literally cheaper to buy the season pass than to buy the one-day ticket + one-day parking for my ticket. Plus now I could buy add-a-friend tickets for $20 for the additional people, rather than one-day passes for them for about $50.

And when we got to the park 15 minutes before opening to park, we were literally in the first row of parking, there were less than 20 cars ahead of us. Are amusement parks too old-school in this digital and social media age? The teenagers probably didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes in line for any ride for the first two hours. Granted the park did fill up more later, but it was one of the hotter days this summer and the water park portion was great for the kids to hang out the rest of the afternoon.

The only thing I'm not 100% sure on is the bonus perk of one free bring-a-friend ticket, on how to use it. Though from what I could research online, it seems I just mention it at the admission turnstile, and they will be able to look it up on my season pass.

In any case, we may or may not go again in 2025, esp with CA Great America no longer doing their Halloween or Christmas days this year. But we'll surely go at least once next summer 2026, making the Season Pass totally worthwhile!

Just for anyone confused, OP was talking about California's Great America closure - not Illinois's Great America
