Can't speak to this brand (we use govee), I'm just here to stress how important it is to not only have water alarms but also to have them _everywhere_ there is a water source in your home - refrigerator, under every sink, every toilet fish tank, water heater, washer/dryer, etc. Low upfront cost and can save you thousands. Great to have smart ones since they can tell you about leaks when you're out so you can get home ASAP or call a neighbor to help if you're out of town

The four makes noise and also tells you if it's getting too cold and may freeze pipes.

this is version1. version 4 has sound and a temperature sensor. temperature sensor is also useful (eg mechanical closet, no heat, pipe has not burst so no leak, but you want to know if temp is below 50 and pipes may burst)you could also add another sensor (temp+humidity)

any good product suggestions for a freezer alert? With a small farm business just getting off the ground, we have several freezers in standalone building. Would love to know when one of those fails before the products inside get damaged.

i just bought the freezer sensors from yosmart and they've been working really well. i bought the ones with the lcd screens. since you're running a commercial business i'd suggest getting two different brands of sensors for each freezer

Thank you for the info. We'll definitely like the dual sensor idea! Applause

Aside from temp sensors, I would get something to monitor power as frezeers dont drop temps right away specially when packed with frozen stuff already.

Just a simple plugin smart outlet (don't plug your freezer into this as it will blow up if under rated) on the same circuit that is set to alert you when it turns off or looses power would work.

I know this all too well. We went for an extended visit to see relatives (a month) and came home to a pinhole in our hot water pipe. It was spraying out a steady water stream along with steam for who knows how long. The ceilings were falling, all the drywall ruined. What a mess. Now if we leave we turn the water off!

Any opinions on these YoLink vs. Govee that have been around same price?

Thanks Op. Im going to swap the Govee one I just bought for this instead. It seems that they're close in comparison but the Yolink uses its own LoRa network which I read is better for signal reliability then WiFi.
