We had a water leak about two months ago and got the green light from the wife to upgrade our water sensors (we previously used Govee).

So, I went all in—with 35 Yolink devices.

I started with their water sensors, then added the Bulldog Main Shut-Off Valve (setup and automation couldn't be simpler).
From there, I expanded into security sensors (door and motion), then temperature sensors (for the kids' room and the fridges).

Now I'm diving into their smart power switches for home automation.
For example:
If water is detected in the washing machine pan, it automatically shuts off the main water valve and cuts power to the washing machine.

In our kitchen, we've had an issue where running the mini-oven and the water boiler at the same time trips the 15A breaker.
I set up a rule: if the mini-oven draws high load, the plug powering the water boiler turns off; once the load drops, it turns back on.

How is this compared to Govee sensors?

IMO they are better than Govee since the hub can be directly connected to switch via ethernet or wifi and there is an easy integration into home assistant. The govee leak sensors cannot integrate into HA without buying a separate dongle to intercept data

I have 14 of these and the water shut off valve. The benefit to these is that they connect to both the Internet hub and directly to the shut off valve. So if the power is out they still work.

These saved me already. I have them in my first floor ceiling below my upstairs bathrooms. I removed the lights and put them up there.

Sure enough I had a bathtub leak after a few months. Saved my ceiling. I recommend them to everyone.

Which water shut off did you get? I'm seeing three different versions.
