I click on filter -> kids sail free... and tried 3 different itineraries and it still wasn't kids sail free... why does their website stink. Last time I tried ncl website it was the same. The options are there they just don't work. Am I being dumb?

Looks like the 3rd and 4th are free on only certain cruises and can't find one from San Diego.

No Need to add kids as long as they stay together in the same room.

I have looked over cruises over the next 8 months and am not seeing any that indicate this sale. The second person is itemized at the same rate as the 1st, there is no option for adding children, and the 3rd and 4th are not marked as "free" and instead have some price associated with them. Either this "promo" isn't working for everyone, or they are using some sort of mental gymnastics to misrepresent and market their costs.

something is not right then. It is showing guest 3 and 4 as having a price next to them. Guest 2 also didn't have a discount from guest 1 on any of the cruises I looked at. I think this is just a gimmicky way to market their costs.

You always pay taxes, fees, and port expenses for each passenger. They only get the "base fare" discounted or free depending on promo.

Those taxes and fees really add up and vary depending on itinerary and length.

How does Norwegian compare with Royal Caribbean BTW? I am looking at Cabo cruises and it looks like RC is like $600-700 less than Norwegian

This makes me never want to use NCL ever. You can filter by the Kids Sail Free promo, but then when you select a date, it's not available. I have no idea how to actually find a sailing when it's available which is just stupid. Thanks for making me never want to use NCL ever
