A ceramic coated cast-iron pan defeats the purpose of having a cast-iron pan. Because all ceramic coated cans have the same problem, they all eventually lose their smoothness and they become very sticky and then they are worthless, but all cast-iron pans will keep working for eternity way better than any ceramic coated pan

Ceramic coatings have their place....like cooking high acid foods. Of course this is made in China with unknown quality, unlike a Staub, or Le Creuset that will last for a long time, and have lifetime warranties.

I'm old. There's like 40 cast-iron pans in this house. These enamel ones are great too. Like the other guy said you can cook with a side of foods without it reacting with the iron. If you cook on the patio you can be lazy and have it outside with less concern of rust. What food does sticks in the pan and bake on as it cools you can add some water and bring it to a boil and turn it off for 20 minutes and then everything is bloated and easy to clean. Honestly I do that my regular cast-iron pan when they're seasoning is good enough.
