I foolishly sat out on a sale 3 years ago. Target had this for $236. That's the cheapest I had ever seen it before or since. Been waiting for years to see anything remotely close to that. With tariffs, I can't see it dipping any lower than $300. Stinks to pay $100 more than that historical price, but decided to pull the trigger.

This is good deal if you've ever been interested in a Zojirushi. We call it the Bread Robot, recently received it as a gift and we love it. it has a lot of different settings and does literally all the work for you. We have used it to bake a whole loaf of bread, or at times just let it knead and raise the dough for other uses.

Never used another bread machine so I don't really know how it compares, but I've always heard it's the best. If you're into this kind of thing, I can't recommend it more.

I concur that it's the best bread maker on the market. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely. 🍞 😋 👍

I haven't use this one, but in our family we have few Panasonic bread machines and they are working flawlessly. The oldest one is working every week for last 10+ years for all kinds of bread, pizza dow etc.

I actually own this or a very similar, older model. Everyone told me to get the Zojirushi if i were going to get a bread machine. That said, i started a marketplace search and they are constantly for sale. So if you're open to a used one, you can probably find a much better price. I feel like bread machines are items that some people get, use twice, and then put away or items they use weekly for years. Also, this takes up a ton of counterspace.

You need a better time machine! $219.95 in Oct of 2019 from Focus Camera of all places. That said, if mine died I would pay this deal price.

Great idea - except near me they are going for $300-400! I messaged a few sellers, citing the current prices, and got "then buy it from there!" responses...

Strange vendor for such a deal. Yeah I only started paying attention to Slickdeals after 2020, so that makes sense. Still, it's reassuring to know, as a current owner, you still consider this to be a discount worth considering.

Patience is the key with marketplace.

I think i paid $200 for something that was supposedly "only used twice", it did look pretty new. you want to make sure the nonstick coating isn't scratched or anything. I've seen them down in the 150 range too though for sure here in the DC-metro area. it probably does depend where you live too!

Wait, does this breadmaker's pan tray have a TEFLON PTFE coating?
I was going to pull the trigger but not sure about this now... any informed feedback would be appreciated.

Can you actually expect to save money over time with this by buying your own ingredients and making your own bread vs buying it already made at the grocery store?

As a novice what makes this better than a bread pan in the oven? Make my dough with a kitchen aid then let it rise before cooking

Well, you've already reached your destination.

But if you don't have a kitchen aid or an oven, get this.

Also this is a "throw everything in there and get bread" machine. So it would be easier and save you some time.
