Saw the laptop in person.

No back-lit keyboard and definitely feels like it's less than $400 quality wise.

It's a $399 Dell laptop, extremely basic and generic for the price. Cant complain too much about it at this range.

Would not know it by the post. 😕 Just copypasta.

I was going to make a joke about the brightness, but I would then be a nits-wit. Seriously, though, how good is the screen.

Just download more megabytes from the Internets, then use SoftRAM95 to DOUBLE* your RAM.
*The FTC says this is patently horse pucky.

This is a bottom-tier laptop and you should honestly wait for a better deal, or pick up a lightly used better model. A slow for 2023 Ryzen and Wi-Fi 5 in 2025? They had to scrounge around to find such flimsy components, which probably applies to every part of this system. It'll likely be slow and randomly unreliable until it fails a month after the warranty is up.

Lol Sorry! I thought I had copied that into the description but yes, it has 16 GB RAM.

I was looking for a deal on a decent laptop for browsing (and not a Chromebook) and came across this at Costco. Nothing spectacular but I think decent machine for basic needs.

Looks like Dell.com has the same price with 16GB RAM, no membership required. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/c...=opl&gQT=2

My mistake, that one comes with the AMD Ryzen N 5 7530U 6-core with Radeonu Graphics. It's $29 more if you have to have the Ryzen 7.
