The cpu fan is equipped with a 4-pin power connector and a cable with a serial ARGB lighting connector, which plugs directly into the motherboard.
  • Perfect Match: The cpu fan can be used not only as a case fan, but also suitable for use with a cpu cooler to create a cooling effect together, which can take away the dry heat from the case and the high temperature generated by the CPU in operation, allowing for maximum cooling; Ideal for cases, cpu water cooler and CPU air coolers.

These are a great alternative to Lian Li TL fans at 1/4th the cost.

Reverse fan version is also available for $23.69. Nice to see Thermalright isn't really marking those up. Now intake fans can still show the "better" side of the fan internally.

I dislike Lian Li now, there's so many different hubs and the fans require the right hub. I had some TL fans that were given to me and found that I needed a TL hub. My SL fan hub wouldn't work even though the TL fans connections are the same as SL fans.

does thermalright come with any software to control the fan speeds and lighting? If not then what are some good alternative softwares? I have lian li fans, meanwhile its got durability issues it does come with a very nice software.

A lot of people use OpenRGB with a plugin called fansync. Then you have speed control + light control. But also pretty much any bios can set different fan profiles and all argb motherboards have their own native program for argb.

You seem to like the Lian Li software anyway just keep using that though. Nothing about the PWM or ARGB standards should be specific to one brand of fan really unless Lian Li uses some special connector.

Do they not have a way power a singular fan? I just recently received and I wanted to use two chained together and one by itself but there is only one power cable. I didn't see that they offered any sort of cable to buy either so anyone have any ideas?

I bought the white version of these fans. 2 reverse packs and 1 exhaust pack absolutely amazing fans and easy to connect together. I think people are sleeping on these great fans due to the Lian Li hype. But these are great budget option.

I bought those but ended up replacing with phanteks m25 (25-30bucks). This is ok fan as case air circulation and great cost performance. I prefer m25's performance and lighting.

That's what the "wireless" solution is intended to and actually does fix while giving software more useful than what mobo manufactures provide. All of their "wireless" fans are now usable together in a single build. I'm not a fan of the price of lian li fans, but reviewers and their continual lack of objective logical analysis has clearly held back people's adoption of the "wireless" over the older style with the idiotic, awful, hubs. For me, these thermalright m12(q) and the Icolor JM-V2 are my go to rgb 120mm fans currently for many customer builds. If 140mm, then it's basically just lian li, thermaltake, and Phanteks as options so the M25 win easily by default for price to performance.

Was going to buy this, but I noticed in the reviews people complained about only having 1 cable included for 3 fans. So if you were to separate them then you're outta luck.
