Are you referring to the 39" Costco LG oled UW? I believe it's been sold out for a couple of days now.

Was that the one with the low ppi?

There was also the 49inch Samsung that's gone

also, anyone know if this is glossy or has Samsung's anti glare coating? And how bad are the black levels in a lit room

It's matte. I feel like the matte coating nearly removes all of the magenta hue you get with sunlight on the monitor (common with QD-OLED), but may just be me.

Edit: Received monitor and changed from semi-matte to matte.

It is oled. And that represents SDR brightness. i have a similar set, and 250 nits is a lot in the dark. it supports hdr10+, which i think means i can peak much much higher in hdr. i think the idea is that because oled can get so dark, so you don't necessarily need it to get so bright in order to capture highlights

Gorgeous monitor but the smart tv feature is abysmal. You can disable most of it, but there's still a long countdown when the monitor goes to sleep, which is really goofy. The low nits didn't bother me because the OLED panel was still plenty bright, but I still returned it and didn't regret it.

Both are sorta mediocre. This has the better PPI but the brightness is subpar

You can turn off the countdown timer

Life's too short to worry about OLED burn-in.
