It's not particularly approachable
My best advice is this game is for people who are into true tabletop gaming. If you're a legit table top person this game is probably going to be great
For everyone else it's probably going to be cumbersome and confusing

i've played this on both switch and steam deck. it's a miracle it even runs on switch tbh, and while you can play it, it's low fps, rez, and textures making the playing experience not great. there's a lot of small text on numerous cards, so it's tedious playing on such a small screen, best played docked, but it looks even worse on a large tv. i would suggest playing it on a PC/laptop, although it plays and looks great on a docked steam deck as well, my preferred way to play
