Suspicious that they can fit twice as much magnesium into a single pill compared to the competition. Amazing price as well. If anyone has tried this, please share your thoughts.

I've been taking these for months. I just do 1 in the morning with my daily multivitamin and fish oil. It's good stuff. I don't know about the calming effects. It doesn't make me tired or anything. Just good to increase my magnesium intake.

I manually fill gel capsules for certain powder form nootropics i don't want to add to my daily vitamin mix (dont want to taste them. the amount of loose powder you can fit in a capsule vs when you use a flat end capsule tool to compact the powder is pretty crazy, like 4 to 1. I dont know if some companies would be able to take advantage of compacting powder into their automation for filling capsules, but I would assume larger granule size (dense granules) would allow more mass of magnesium to fit into each capsule.

I personally take ZMA before sleep. Helps with sleep, testosterone level and metabolism.

I only take 100 mg YMMV (I use doctors best because I can just take the one pill to get 100 mg). Pill is kind of hard to swallow.

I started taking this about two weeks ago…one pill just before bed. Works great for sleep which is what Glycinate is used for. If you want magnesium for digestion then you should take Citrate. I believe Citrate helps when combined with a probiotic. It helps with absorption.

Can confirm this as a sleep aid. It just makes you calm before bed. It also helps lower blood pressure.

500mg is almost 20% more than the recommended total of magnesium for one adult in a 24 hour period and I recommend starting at half a dose because it does cause grogginess throughout the day if you take the full amount before bed.

Likely on sale because people who take mag glyc know to not slam 500 of it in a single dose.
