I ended up getting the River 2 Pro with solar from the july discount. The worst thing about it is the solar panels. It is such a pain to setup and it doesn't stand up flat. You have to deal with hooks attached to the hard side of the case. I wish there was some way to flatten all the panels and prop it up via some kickstand.

The battery itself was new. I installed some third party tool and found out the cycle count was at 1 when I opened it.

Same here, shocking how new looking the River 2 Pro was and solar panels.

I agree on the clunky setup of the solar panels. If you are looking to put the up and down the panels regularly, you'll be annoyed by this design. On the other hand they pack away well in a flat spot (e.g., closet or shelf). For my occasional use it's fine.

Price is low because there are a lot of compromises on this bundle. If this is the same panel I have, you have to use the case to hold it up, which is really annoying. I wonder if someone has done a retrofit for legs. The overall price is great for half a kW especially if you want a 110W panel or sell it. Only one USB-C can be bad though depending on your use case. Running the inverter to power wall chargers would be a waste.

I was going to get this but I couldn't pass up the Solarplay 2160Wh deal so I went with that.

Just took delivery. Unit looked new minus a few blemishes. Same with solar panel. Perfect conditions on a 75edg day panel only put out 91w due to the fact is gets HOT, reducing efficiency.

Definitely would have gotten the deal with the 160w for $280 had I known the panel would need OPTIMAL conditions to even get 80% of its rating.

Could you please say, how did check the cycle count?

it's medium difficulty to install but here it is: https://github.com/tolwi/hassio-ecoflow-cloud. use chatgpt to figure out how to run it.

Would this be good for a large residential fridge? Would it be able to handle the start up wattage?

Negative this would not do to well with a full sized fridge...just not enough WH....I mean it will probably power it for a short period and would be right on the max output of the device, I would not recommend it for this task if it was me just sayin. Hope this helps! I am a Prepper and play with batteries and solar panels and inverters all the time and even build prep/survival/outdoor power solutions for friends and family. I guess it would purely come down to the actual use. If this was for a 2 hr power outage great...but that would be a stretch on this unit even.

i got this bundle previously to source power for my shed. built a shelf in the corner and draped the panel over the roof peak and ran the wires on thru an eave. added 2 LED panel lights to it and have run my leaf blower to clean off my zero turn. I've also used my chop saw with it for making shelving and building a deck. it's worked better than running underground wire from my house to have power there.
