Okay, I bit - but hoping someone will chime in here and give us a review?

People seem okay with the wiz app, but might have problems with the bulb size (runs a little larger?)

If anyone has more input I'd love to hear it!

I advise you all stay away. We purchased 15 of philips hue bulbs to turn our house into a smart home, less than a year ago, and 10 of them have died so far.
I took them apart and there is a capacitor that explodes in EVERY single one, they cheaped out on internal parts and it blows up in the EXACT same spot each time. And Philips will NOT replace them.
Be warned.

Hue or Wiz ?

Those are two different product lines: one is premium, and one is economy

Ha. Same thing with my Philips SmartSleep Wake-up Light. Friend plans to replaces the big expanded capacitor to see if still works and move it a bit so doesn't get heat.

I was going to warn the same exact thing based on what I've read. Smart bulbs just seem not to last. Thx for saving us some money.

What about their regular LED bulbs? Phillips used to have a great reputation and last time I bought LED bulbs 8 years ago they were great. They're slowly dying now though and I'm looking for a replacement.

Use to. I have a set in the bathroom for over 10 years now. Bright enough, not WHITE light, energy saver. I don't think I've seen these on sale anymore. If they go out, I don't know what I will replace them with.

As it says in the pictures, not compatible with Hue. So don't get these thinking they're Hue bulbs.

I disagree. Hue is a premium brand with premium quality and performance. While Philips has a good enough reputation, the hue line is fit those that want more.

That said, most people don't need Hue quality. Wiz is just a software and it does nothing to the hue brand other than confusing some people
