This is a little more than I paid for this guitar. It's a fantastic insturment, very high quality and has that classic "gretsch" sound with these pickups. If you're looking for a hollowbody, this one plays and looks great.

They sound very different. Listen to some videos on YouTube. The Gretsch pickups have a distinct Gretsch chime, and the Guild is similar to an old school Gibson humbucker. Both great guitars, just depends on what sound you want.

That gold hardware looks [really] good on the dark blue.

I feel lucky to have picked up a Georgia Green back before the Electromatic line [mostly, or nearly all?] shifted to China. Not saying it's bad, at all. These are great guitars, truly. But, I think the consistency of quality control out of S. Korea is better.

Plus, mine was when the G5622T was still with cat-eye holes vs 'f'. And triple pickups [for the looks... as I don't need 3 HB's, and the controls get even more confusing, haha!]

1 3/4" nut width and I'd be in. really getting into finger style and love that martin nut width.
