These aren't designed for the sorts of things you would use a power driver for. The use case is more fidgety little screws in awkward places than anything you would need to worry about torque for.

I agree but I feel like for building a PC, it should have enough torque to undo fan screws.

I love the design of Hoto tools, but it looks like there are a lot of comments of this specific screwdriver breaking. Has anyone purchased it previously?

Any recommendations for a brand/model with good enough torque? I've been looking to get something decent for PC building.

The Amazon basic one I think ranked #1 on project farm.

We bought 12 of these for our laptop repair team last summer. Only 3 still work.

this wouldn't be appropriate for fan screws. Everything in a PC uses standard sized screwdrivers not these mini bits. Laptop, phones and handheld consoles is where this screwdriver would be appropriate.

In your defense, it does include a #2 Phillips bit, but this is clearly for much smaller work. Think cell phone or laptop screws.
Case fans are full-size screwdriver work.

I bought 1 of these last year ago, the motor still works. It's not a bad kit but as a "precision" kit, this isnt really expected to be used with screws that require a lot of torque.

This looks very similar to the Fanttik NEX E1 kit I bought a couple months ago. It's "cool" and I "like" it, but comments about lack of power are right on. Taking apart a NUC to clean it I had to manually unscrew the main screws first then used the motor power. Not like they were sealed with locktite or anything. Should be handier for laptop and small stuff.

I just got the set and the driver has a L and H rating but i feel that it does absolutely nothing for speed or torque. Its enough for most laptops but the speed is too slow. I use a full size panasonic electric driver from 20 years ago even for samsung phones it is so precise and delicate. Looks like ill have to order another from japan soon.
