YMMV: In-store open box at Best Buy for only $695.99 lowest I've seen for the 2024 Hisense U8N 75".
Top-tier Mini LED panel, ~3,000 nits brightness, HDMI 2.1, Dolby Vision & Atmos, Wi-Fi 6E, ATSC 3.0 tuner.
Check condition in store , mine was "fair " and had no physical issues

fair condition = cosmetic damages, missing remote, missing legs or mount. if it's an oled, it means possible store display model with burn in. ask me how I know. lol

Usually around $1200-1250 for a 75" 8 series, so yeah approaching half price. If it was me I'd go for "Open Box - Excellent" for $780 instead of "Open Box - Fair" for $695

I just picked up a floor model 55" U8 from a local retailer. I was wary of Hisense because I have always considered it to be a budget brand. But, comparing it to the other models on display, it had the best picture. Only the OLEDs looked better, and they were at least twice as expensive. Pretty happy with this so far, though one thing to note is that the 75" model uses a different panel than the other sizes, slightly worse according to rtings. Still a solid deal though.
