That's fair. I thought about that. I love how Best Buy will price match even though I don't have a PC Richard anywhere near me.
For me, personally, it was worth the extra $40 to order from Amazon. It was 11pm and I was tired and didn't want to deal with starting a chat with Best Buy. Plus, Amazon offered free premium delivery with unboxing and could deliver on Sunday during a 3 hour window of my choosing. Best Buy wasn't available for Sunday delivery for me - and when they are available, they say 7am-7pm and narrow it down the day of to a time window of their choosing.
Are you implying they fixed the issue later in the production year?
People having issues with it dying within a couple of months, hard to get any insight with long term results because they have a new model every year.
Hisense in general has always been sketchy on quality. My Costco one has been a tank for 4 years now. My mom's Target Black Friday one died in 18 months. I just don't like multiple reviews saying mother board has issues a few months in for a $1000 TV.

I have no idea why this didn't make front page. I snagged it the immediately and arrives today. I already have one that I purchased lat year, and it's great.
