Not a bad deal, should be pretty snappy, I'm disappointed that there are so few Chromebooks that have a 2k, 3k, or 4k screen.

I would get this for important stuff like banking since chromebooks are almost immune to malware.

The resolution is 1200p (16:10) not 1080p.
It qualifies for Chromebook+ with the 1080p webcam and 8GB RAM.

As long as you don't have any expectation for the screen (color gamut is a abysmal and relatively low res), it's not a bad choice given it's supported through 2032, so 7 more years to go.

You can even install Windows 11 on it (coolstar.org) even though 8GB and Windows 11 might not be the best match. (I haven't tried)

According to the terms/conditions of that offer it "Excludes refurbished or open-box items."
