Their newer made tri-ply clad line has sealed rims. This prevents the aluminum layer from eroding and pitting which causes the edges to become sharp.
i had bought this set around Christmas and they warped almost instantly and i returned them
Are these old or newer?

How does this compare to multi clad pro?
I have the MultiCladPro set that I purchased around 2017 and I'm buying this set to add to my collection because I've often wished I had a second 10" skillet while cooking different dishes. You can't find anything cheaper while still being decently good quality these days, and I know my MCP pans work great, so just do what I'm doing and get these because if you don't like them you can return them since Costco makes it super easy.

Weird that there's no cover for the 8"
Typically 8" pans won't have covers. So no, not weird.

Just curious, did you use induction on them?

How does this compare, quality-wise, to Tramontina Gourmet Tri-Ply Clad Fry Pans?
I have both Tramontina (Spain) and these... they cook identically, I ended up getting 2 sets of these... can't beat the price and quality for 3-ply

These are absolute garbage ALUMINUM core pans. Good quality pans will have COPPER core. That's why reviews mentioned that they will warp, and are not suited for oven use.
I don't have experience with these in particular, but I've been using a large set of aluminum core Cuisinart pots and pans for 15 years and they still work just fine, no warpage at all. They are 2 rivet style and the handles are slightly loose now on some of them.

Not true. Yes copper is better for heat conduction than aluminum, but it's significantly more expensive. Copper is also soft. Warping has to do with thickness of layers, number of layers, and quality of bonding: all clad 3 ply aluminum core generally don't warp and get the nod from wirecutter and ATK.

Can you please provide me alternative in ball park of this price? Not looking to spend $500 but don't mind spending $100 ish.

I have been paying over $50-80 every year or so for non stick or ceramic cookware for set of 5 to 7 pan and skillet before they go to trash. So looking for something safe which would last at least couple of years

I have an old version of these that I've used since 2010. They'll be fine. That is, unless my set from back then was higher quality. Just looked it up and instead of having an aluminum core, mine has an aluminum base, which sounds worse to me.

all-clad produces both aluminum core and copper core. I have the all-clad D3 and D5's and the Cuisnarts are very similar to the D3's. I've had no problem with warping on any of my tramontinas, cuisinarts, and all-clads. For $40 these are a very good deal. These should be cooked on medium-low to medium for best results.
