I have "high end" Kohler Faucets and hard water. I have 8 total faucets. 1 faucet the hot water side messed up twice and they sent "free parts". The sink faucet line started leaking and they sent free parts. I do the vinegar in the bag about once a year to remove the hard water crust. All the other faucets been trouble free.
By the way even the high end uses plastic. Probably the same rubber seals in both products.
oh and I had issues with both faucets, and customer support seems you parts pretty easily.
I have an american standard one with thread at the end so i can connect a hose.
