Exactly what I was thinking. I have their ONT in my apartment and would love to switch back to their service, but the price without wireless service is not worth it.
Not really I pay $30 a month for 300 and $10 a month for google gemini+2tb. Even so the $10 is just extra. I will never give them $75 a month. 300 is just fine for everything I work at home and all my stuff is in the cloud. But hey keep signing up people to overpay so they can subsidize me.
Last time I check it's waived on 1gig plan and up

Agreed and then you get stuck in the universe with too many family lines
Thanks. I'll check .
I was paying around 60$ for the gig plan after discounts through my employer just last year. Unfortunately my new place does not have Fios coverage so I'm stuck with xfinity paying 85$ for the same plan. And the worst part is that the xfinity upload speeds suck at 30-40 Mbps
Really made me miss my Fios connection.
While I agree that the prices are higher now ,unless there is a new player that could offer aggressive rates(Verizon did the same when they first started Fios). I don't see these rates coming down any time soon

I doesn't hurt to call and find out what options they have available. When I cancelled with one, the other service would call back the next day with new rewards. I just kept going back and forth to see how far I could go
