Did you ensure that the AC time out was set to "Never" in the app? It is set to 12 hours default.

Been using mine as a sump pump backup for months with no issue. As someone else mentioned, be sure to check the AC timeout. Or check if there's an update that fixed the issue.

DON'T…just don't buy this model for sump pump, the AC is highly unreliable and will randomly turn off in the middle of the night or when you are not home. I had this model and learned it hard way, luckily I had a backup of backup pump :-)….returned the unit right away

I have one and my only complaint is all the AC outlets and the activation of them are in the rear.
