I had a heck of a time with my gskill ram on my (admittedly cheaper and older) asus tuf gaming B450M motherboard ... I think mainly because I bought two sticks of 8 GB ram then bought two more of what I thought were identical sticks of ram but it's been pointed out to me since then that even if it's the exact same model of ram and manufacturer and everything all four sticks are not guaranteed to "play nicely" with each other and you're best off just deciding how much ram you want in advance and grabbing a single set/pair of ram that will cover your requirements (or in other words if I hadn't been so cheap and paid extra for two 16 GB sticks of gskill ram in the first place I wouldn't have had the problems I did). I could be wrong but I'm guessing even for modern gaming 32 GB of ram should be enough for gaming even with the newer titles out there
