I've not installed mine yet.
Just note that they send the game code quicky. Thus, if you have any idea of hedging your bets and thinking about returning this if you find it cheaper elsewhere, note the game has a $60 cart price. I'm not sure digital software is returnable.

Recommended: 1, 2 or 3 in order.
1. Separate systems; but leave Window on your oldest one, and save the newest for Linuxmint/Mate. It's faster, on faster, and Mate scales better, wastes far less resources and it's user interface is easy for those used to Windows.
2. Use a new, fast SSD on your fastest computer for Linuxmint/Mate. Dual boot 2 drives.
3. The installer will setup a nice dual boot on its own partition, given enough shared HD space. But you might have to just follow directions to work around some partition and (in)"Secure Boot" blockers. All is explained at linuxmint.com
So even Windows only users should not shut the door to other OS's they could ALSO benefit from if not for bad closed firmware devices. Yes you do not want proprietary firmware making locked in devices. Where when they decide to stop supporting it then it's as if they turned it off effectively and so force you to upgrade or not use your dated devices for many other good tasks.
Don't believe the limited OS thinkers who lie about each different OS's pros. Use at least 2 and get the best of both worlds, and see for yourself, for longer than a year. Plus when one has a glitch then you can simply boot the other to get work done.
Which reminds me; you really also want two Linux installs somewhere. Because the great plethora of more options to try is NOT for your main working system. While back up of your data and 20m clean reinstall is a breeze; you will want a main working Linux system that has all your personal settings and apps the way you like them. You should not clean install to often to though, due to making system core level changes to fast. Note one major change at a time and do not installs some thing you can; like 10 different user interface window managers with multiple sets of duplicate helper apps, like file managers. Test those each in their own install, like your second Linux install for trying all things.
But the terrible "problem" of so much more choice is fully covered by simply picking Linuxmint with the Mate (not Cinnamon) UI and apps. Try it as your main system for work/play. Add apps you want if not already installed in the 20m. The software manager is FULL of substitute apps, by other names. Happily paid for by sharing, not cheap "freeware" to confuse you. Complete apps and with ongoing dynamic new stable release features and improvements everyday. The entire system, from core to games all with the best upgrade methods.
So you keep Windows apps native in Windows and native Linux open source apps in Mint.
Mint is based on Ubuntu in part and they are based on Debian and it's superior, easy package management system. Mint just hits the ground running (more) with a fully chosen (20m) install, better than you get with a store bought computer with it apps. Far more and better, apps and with no other tiers to buy.
You probably know security is far better and faster with Linux; as designed. And also security is also what you do on any system.
Keep in mind; Linuxmint is made to handle old to new devices in NUMEROUS systems. And it does this automatically with all typical drivers. Then many blocked devices have been reverse engineered, and use required closed thinking, firmware blurds loading them anyway, originally used to lock you into Windows only. But it is amazing you may NOT have to worry about driver modules at all, per device, at all. So it's a lie developers are not fast enough or something. It's amazing you may not even see a driver conflict at all; considering all the numerous road blocks tried.
If you simply start Linuxmint from USB(simple directions to download and make) then you can boot live and test your devices BEFORE even installing the Mint OS distribution. Only a few things can't be tested until actually installed.
And I'm writing this to warn you of the new trend AWAY from open devices, like those in your cell phones, notebooks, new desktops, motherboards and anything.
We really do ourselves a great disservice when picking devices/computers, etc with LOCK YOU IN firmware. It's worth your time to uncover them and choose good devices instead.
For example: Though Nvidia works with special driver managers, I prefer AMD GPU's; because the are automatically setup for full speed and compatibility with core level open OS'es without tainting it and with fast improving core upgrades. This is critical with new ways of direct graphics speed that eliminate our dependency on our GPU's firmware. Such as the technical and new Wayland methods. The future for gamers wallets is bright; but not if we fail to understand why it's so very important we buy systems with device parts using open firmware, not monopolizing the situation by giving the seller all the cards.
Sometimes a device is super simple to replace, rather than jump though hoops with workarounds. But you know these are increasingly built in and so taint an otherwise good system. That is not failure of Linux developers. It is a road block, placed before you; that starts with the devices you buy.
Just in case you didn't know. Do you really want to eliminate the ability for you to simply ALSO install Linuxmint with Mate? You can prefer Windows, use it's native apps and without closing-up all your options for the best of both worlds. And your option to even change your mind about also using the world of pros with Linuxmint.com with Mate recommended.
Beyond that I notice there are still major myths about Linux, still being yelled; that are made to confuse you. Typical false assumptions, atypical situations, and scare tactics. Misdirection even. Just try it and you'll see which they are. And don't believe everything on the Internet. Stay out of anonymous forums for advice. There are some great 24/7 guides for whatever you want. As usual just consider the source. Some get it and some don't.
Try not to bias your free Linux test as if any issue is somehow a failure of Linux developers to make everything work and like Windows. Ask yourself if a particular errant device is in bed with Windows. Everything does not work on Windows. And most of the time it is simply what you start with and not flipping every switch just to see what happens, on your main working Linux install. Do crazy testing on another Linux install and you'll see. Stay with the stable apps on your main Linux system. They will automatically upgrade when ready, daily. Yes new features, eventually major releases and all, with everything else on your system. It's pretty dang cool!
And it's MANY more apps, by far. Complete ones, Free to you with no upsell. Why would you not even try it? Even someone not technical then has technical friends able to help you. The overall experience is easy to use and automatically keep upgraded. Not just when it is dictated to you; that you have to pay, AGAIN. Everyone should see this by now. Close source enslaves your computer choices. Where we go from here depends on what hardware you buy. Expose this need while you still can.

i would probably look at getting at least an x570 board so you could extend the life of this
and from the sounds of it, i would look into getting an 7600/7700 gpu that will be coming out in roughly june/july it sounds like for the future av1 support
