It's $5 more than the last similar deal, but the RAM offering is different. Last deal was G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB @ 3600MHz, this deal is 32GB CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz so at glance, the speed is different but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can comment on the quality/specs of the RAM.

It could be I've been lucky so far Smilie but surprisingly newegg hasn't given me any trouble at all with their returns , maybe they're trying to compete with amazon that way Stick Out Tongue .. I bought a hard drive sold and shipped by amazon (3.5 inch mechanical drive) that of course newegg didn't wrap enough bubble wrap around, drive didn't work and it was annoying having to return it but I didn't have to talk to anyone to do it, the website just let me handle it with a few clicks and generated a prepaid shipping label for me to send back to them so I could get my replacement drive.

There are definitely people who know more than me who could comment on the quality of this deal Smilie .. having said that I have the exact same processor and ram and have been very happy with it (though bear in mind I haven't even gotten around to playing say the Witcher 3 which came out years ago and I won't go any higher than 1080 resolution for gaming because I'm cheap Stick Out Tongue so my PC gaming demands are much lower than say an avid PC gamer looking for components that will run the latest and greatest games at top capacity).

I had a heck of a time with my gskill ram on my (admittedly cheaper and older) asus tuf gaming B450M motherboard ... I think mainly because I bought two sticks of 8 GB ram then bought two more of what I thought were identical sticks of ram but it's been pointed out to me since then that even if it's the exact same model of ram and manufacturer and everything all four sticks are not guaranteed to "play nicely" with each other and you're best off just deciding how much ram you want in advance and grabbing a single set/pair of ram that will cover your requirements (or in other words if I hadn't been so cheap and paid extra for two 16 GB sticks of gskill ram in the first place I wouldn't have had the problems I did). I could be wrong but I'm guessing even for modern gaming 32 GB of ram should be enough for gaming even with the newer titles out there Smilie

I mean it's a decent CPU but if you're like me with a 3700x, it's not worth the upgrade. I'll be waiting for the 12 and 16 cores to drop in price to justify upgrading.

You may see M4/DDR4 deals as M5/DDR5 are current market and a bit future proofed

Newegg has some AMD MB $60 off with combo. MSI gaming is not a bad choice for under $100.
Combo with MB, this CPU, and memory for under $250.

Tariffs on chips? Intel also building fab in AZ. Maybe just AMD. Tariffs will be on big ticket items: cars, tractors, tv's, laundry appliances, etc.
