These taste pretty good compared to most protein bars, but less good than you would expect given 17g of sugar. They're more like a candy bar with extra protein.

These are amazing, they remind me of the old Carnation Breakfast Bars from the 80's.

I think these bars are hard to swallow after a while. These things are gross AF for the sugar. Regular cliff bars are good though.

Good deal, but terrible ingredients that cause inflammation in your body.
Pass.

picked these up last time (last week), and when i opened the box it looked like they'd been shrinkwrapped (vs. the normal bit of air space with the wrapper). opened one up and it looked like it'd been melted and re-solidified, so presumably the rest were like that as well. contacted amazon support, which just refunded without return (the only possible option for these). will try another box for this price though, lol

Thanks got 4 boxes, needed some carb heavy bars to help me get some extra cals. I ordered one extra for each person complaining about how unhealthy these are.

Some day people will learn that sugar carbs and seed oils aren't what is preventing your health and six pack. Unless you are living on trash food it's probably your trash activity levels and routine.

Sacrificing your health to own us? Sounds like a win-win to me.

It does in fact. Google a bit on amino acid muscle ratios. Plant based proteins don't mimic the same ratios, so even if it says 20g of protein it doesn't equate to 20g worth of the necessary amino acids that would be used to build muscle. Now, it could, if they balanced it all perfectly. But without them publishing how much of each amino acid, it would be unwise to assume that.

I personally like plant based whatever, protein fats, etc, but for bars like these that have too much sugar and calories, not being sure of how many effective grams I'm getting is a third strike.
