I have the Boom 2 which I got for a similar price in a previous sale. Great quality speaker. Robust build and doesn't feel cheap. The bass can be set very high for such a small speaker and the overall sound is clear. The lights on the side can be permanently switched off; that was a concern before I read reviews and would have put me off getting one if they were permanently on.

Picked up the Boom 2 a while back for $99, it's a nice unit, with app can adjust EQ so sound is tailorable, many existing sound profiles already available online. This price matches the lowest I've seen since its launch. It's often available for $99 via sale or clippable coupon, etc.

I have the sound core motion 300 & I love it. My brother owns the Boom 2 it's great as well gets nice and loud and sounds quite good given it's size. In this price range these speakers are a bargain IMO.

These are great. Side note, always buy from Amazon not soundcore themselves.

Their customer service is the absolute worse and returns are a nightmare.

Any comparison with JBL charge series? I lost my old JBL so I was planning to buy another one unless someone convince me to consider this one who have tried both. Thanks

In terms of sound quality (but not necessarily quantity), Anker would be 90% of JBL and JBL would be 90% of Bose.

This has always been my personal experience with the Bluetooth speakers I have used.

Can you turn off the unnecessary light show? I'd prefer not to get mugged. Also, it seems like a waste of battery life. Yeah realize this has great battery life already.
