I have these pens, and I really like them. I even bought a larger set after trying out this smaller one. Something to keep in mind is that they do write a little thicker than a ballpoint or gel 0.5mm pen.

Agreed. Have no use for the floral colors. Also wish these were 0.7mm for more of a "fountain pen" feel. Oh well, that deal will come along eventually...

I have to fill out tons of paperwork for my job and can only use blue ink...I love these pens! They come out nice and thick, but dry quickly enough for me without bleeding through pages...and I love that they're only 0.5mm because it's nice and thin...some of the spaces I need to fill out don't have a lot of room to write, so the 0.5mm is perfect for my needs.
Not sure what the point of my post is really other than to say I think these pens are fantastic!

Perfect for lefties! As a lefty, my other pens normally stop working after a few days since the paper fibers tend to get inside the point and prevent the ball from turning in certain directions. But you don't have to worry about that happening with this pen!

One of my favorite pens (blue 0.5mm is my preference) and a daily driver.

I wanted something more fancy, so I dropped the refill into one of these metal bolt action pen body ($17) - https://www.amazon.com/SMOOTHERPR...KRHJG?th=1

Edit - looks like that metal bolt action pen body is on sale, stack a few coupons and use subscribe and save making it $11.90. In for another pen which I don't really need, but oh well.

I remember this type of pens is fraud-proof (or something like that for writing checks) but I don't see it's being mentioned in the description. Am I thinking of a different pen? Thanks

You're probably thinking of the Uniball Signo 207. They advertise that pen as fraud proof.

I mean, okay, these are my favorite pens, but I'm in my 40's and I've run a pen dry maybe twice in my life. The chance of me not losing a refill pack long enough to actually need a refill for one of these pens (that I also haven't lost) is ...not high.
