Is Skil now just making OEM products for other companies or is this like an official segment of Skil/SKilsaw where they make more budget equiptment?

Chervon owns Skil, along with several other brands. https://www.protoolreviews.com/po...owns-them/

Skil still has their own line (ACE, Lowes, Amazon, Walmart carry them) - differences I see with this Denali and the current similar 20v Skil set are that Denali models seem to be based on earlier tech (not brushless, not as compact, no usb port on the 2.0Ah Denali batteries), and the charger with the Denali is the 'regular' charger, not the jump charger. Denali also has the included bag - Skil does not offer a bag as far as I could tell.

Current 20V Skil set is also on sale for about 100.00
