That was early access black friday deal for "My Best Buy Plus & Total Members", we don't know if that won't be available for everyone.
In any case, there's no harm in buying this and holding it. If the 18TB deal comes back, this can be returned since there's extended holiday returns.
These have been $199.99 at Costco (since they stopped selling a different 8TB model) and this 14TB is already cheaper per TB (although the other one had a 2 port USB hub built in).
Can't wait until they go on sale...

Those are Seagates and most people on here seem have the mindset to never use seagate drives.

Got several of the 18TBs for $199.99 from Best Buy a couple of weeks ago.
I did have to pay $49.99 for the Best Buy Plus membership to get the sale price.
But split across 3 drives it wasn't as bad and hopefully the membership will come in handy before the end of the 365 days) - they had some UHD Blu Ray movies for $7.99 e.g..

I also agree, this is the "regular sale" price for this drive and has been for a while. Better off holding till closer to BF
