Great price for what you get. I passed because the battery life is really bad and it runs hot. If you use this on a desk, plugged it, its a sharp deal.

Don't confuse it for the other Asus Creator laptop posted earlier... the specs here don't compare, particularly the screen (for me, anyway).

Thanks. "Runs hot" and "bad battery life" are a deal breaker for me! What interested me in this deal was the long spec list for just the monitor. Not too long ago just listing IPS and 1080p got people excited haha. I guess the product is trying to over compensate with a high spec LCD because of its other major flaws.

Yeah I'd avoid the 60Hz OLEDs, but can't be too choosy at this price. The 3050 is nice and should make it run cooler and quieter than an Iris Xe.

Pretty much always good. Definitely worth it as long as you have all the necessary parts. I actually prefer the fair/acceptable stuff over the excellent because of the discount.
