There are still a ton of legit 12 month cards for sale on ebay and otherwise from the Pixel bundle deal...I got one the other day with a $30 offer.

Likely will get bumped to 5GB, so wait until after the change (14th) to activate for full value?! All 4GB plans will go to 5GB for new and existing.

Here is my experience with late activations

-never had a SIM not activate
-have activated after both 45 and 90 days with no issue
-date of activation impacts promo, buy 3 get 3 has been added to plans I haven't bought it on, and taken away from others if x amount of days went by. Same with the unlimited data promos.

I don't have the exacts. I looked back at purchase history vs transaction dates on Mint, but can't figure out which is what (4 accounts).

In 12 days, I will be attempting to activate a SIM purchased on Oct 19, 2022 from Best Buy.....I'll try to post back here. The deadline for that was supposedly to activate by 1/6/23 per bestbuy, but got extended if activated on mint holiday promo to 1/15/23.

3 of the 4 SIMs I purchased Oct 19, 2022....all activated after 1/6/23 but before 1/15/23 received b3g3 and were up to 88 days old. I've had older. I swear I had one that was past expiratory date. YMMV.

Double check that your number transfers when activate with them. Got an email it transferred but it didn't. I had to contact Mint support to do it. They were able to do it promptly.

I just port in a google voice number...it can take a little longer but it's always worked.

FYI, lots of people are dumping their 12 month (port in required), 4GB/10GB Pixel 7 promotion plans on ebay for ~$25-60. Lots of sellers, relatively few buyers. Must better value with relatively low, no risk IMO (ebay buyer super protected from bad sales).

I researched more, these are 6+6 free promos they are selling and they are only 4G. So not likely a scam but these days 4G for a user is way too low. For people like me WFH, I barely go over 1GB a month...
