4K @ 30 Hz for both of them. Can get a 60 Hz version for a few bucks more:

I need something like this, but it needs to have two HDMI ports.

I really don't want to buy a several hundred dollar docking station. Is there no in-between?

There's tons of them if you search Amazon. You just have to order a few and try to find one that works well. This assuming your laptop supports type c.

Using this right now to connect a dell ultrawide monitor and a USB keyboard to a MacBook Pro and it works great. Much better build quality than other USB hubs I've tried at this price point.

There were used Dell 140w TB16 Thunderbolt 3 docks on Amazon for $45 around last week. Excellent deal for an enterprise level Thunderbolt dock in my opinion. I've used the TB19 for a couple years and extremely happy with it, everything solid.

These USB-C devices are probably okay for light traveling but at home I wouldn't use them when alternatives are available

Anker USB C Hub, PowerExpand 8-in-1 USB C Adapter, with Dual 4K HDMI, 100W Power Delivery, 1 Gbps Ethernet, 2 USB 3.0 Data Ports, SD and microSD Card Reader, for MacBook Pro, XPS and More https://a.co/d/hLlcBzU. Currently it is listed for $69 but I bought mine for $39 and had seen it gone lower to $35.

This seems pricey considering you can get one without HDMI for around $10

Yes, this is exactly what I'm looking for, and it looks like there are some still available.

Thanks!

*edit*

The reviews were terrible. I'm thinking about the Anker 364 instead.

I have the Dell wd19 dock and I recommend that over the tb16. Have heard that the tb16 is not a good dock. You can get the wd19 dock on ebay used for $70.

For something cheaper I recommend this 13-in-1 triple monitor usb-c hub currently $38: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHVVVQD8. I've been testing this in a triple monitor setup and it has been quite stable in everyday use.

The dell thunderbolt 3 docks suck. They randomly stop working and working when they want to. Randomly ghosting from keyboard. I've tried two of the docks. Same issue. Using a dell precision 7730.

Anker 364 is 2xHDMI for $100. Can def find cheaper, but it's USB4 certified. (needs separate power adaptor tho)

Would this work as a portable "dock" for Nintendo Switch to output to TV?

you can buy used thunderbolt 3 docking stations on ebay for like $20. they're better than these unpowered hubs in virtually every circumstance except portability
