I purchased this to convert A to C. Because A is so underpowered, there will be a refresh every 5 seconds or so. It works, but not ideal.

You are going about it the wrong way, Instead of making it overly complicated, just buy a USB A to video adapter. I assume you need VGA or HDMI, you can find direct USB A (assuming it is USB 3.0) to HDMI and USB A to VGA adapter on Amazon or eBay all day.

I think the product link he gave, will convert usb 3.0 to VGA monitor connection that might fulfill my need, all I want to connect 2 monitors one from my existing hdmi port and other ports all I have are usb 3.0
