I've never used Google Voice. I see it's a VOIP telephone service.
If I port my existing phone number to GV, and sign up for this Mint deal, am I out of luck in making and receiving calls when not in range of my (or some random) open WiFi signal??
In other words, will GV forward the call to my Cell, via the data service provided by Mint??

On the other deal thread for this, people mention that the IMEI of the phone you use cannot have been used on Mint in the past 90 days... Otherwise you won't be eligible for the free 3 months
