Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

Some things for you to consider: if there are any further updates, you might not be able to update on your own.
Yes, I'm aware of that and don't mind. I just wanted the speed modes and latest FW/BMS/etc, Some individuals still stay on the 1.3 FW.

Haven't really tested it, if you want more speed, you can flash it with a CFW like others have done in here. The stock/retail speed is fast enough for me.

I'm wondering if the OEM dashboard considers retail speed to be 15.5 or 18.6.

The only difference I've seen on here between an OEM and aftermarket dash is that the aftermarket cannot update the BMS, getting access to the different speed modes is the same for both, you have to change the serial number (fourth character to a T). An OEM dash should consider the retail speed to be 18.6, the 15.5 was set in place by Bird. I live in the Midwest and it has started to snow, so won't really be able to test mine out, I tried spinning the wheel while it was placed on a chair to see if I could do it that way, but that didn't work.

I give the scooter a quick push forward and lift off the ground and immediately press the acceleration. Works for me. Though subtract 1-2 mph (my stock scooter shows 17mph when it's actually 15-16mph on ground)

Like Royal said, hold on to the handles and push the scooter forward with one foot and lift the front wheel only. Should be enough momentum.

Btw how much do you want for the OEM dash?

Ah, my issue was spinning the rear wheel to allow it to get the motor engaged, spinning the front wheel on a chair worked, it reads 21 mph, so yeah, it does derestrict it to ~18 mph.

Gotta switch to pneumatic tires. Bird put solid rubber ones since they were used as rentals.
Got the same idea. Bought this pneumatic wheel for the rear to soften out the bumps.

It fits nicely in the wheel well but I'll need to trim 4 mm off each side of the rear axle bushing. Either that or 3d print one.

Is it time to invest in a 3d printer?

Your local library may have a 3D printer for the public to use, my college had one and we just had to pay the cost of the filament. Now I have my own (Ender 3).

For those that are interested in this mod... Here are photos of the wheels...
Left is the new pneumatic wheel. Right is the original solid wheel. The pneumatic wheel is slightly smaller but may get bigger once I properly inflate the tire.

Another pic of the wheels. The axle and the bushing is on the left the other bushing is on the top left.

Let us know if it does significantly improve the ride quality.

Definitely interested in if this will improve ride quality although I think we'll need a solve for the front wheels (if that's even possible). I took it on a 3 mile trip following the kids on their bikes and the non smooth pavement areas were completely felt lol.

Is your app still in Chinese or were you able to change it?

Opened mine last night. Mine connects Segway app but firmware update fails at 48%.

Is there anyone that the battery is not charging over 80%?
