Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

So.. I was able to connect my scooter to the M365 Tools app but all I got from the app was n/a n/a info on all the tabs. Anyone else has the same problem? All I want is to turn off the neon lights :o

My scooters arrived with bluetooth enabled. I was able to connect right out of the box. Firmware upgrade stalled at 47%. I used the Android Xiaoflasher app to change region to UK with 30Km/h option. I then had to use the nine dash app to switch back to see mph from Km/h. Despite my efforts, no success getting anything to flash/upgrade on either app, but apparently it wasn't needed.
Test ride revealed 18mph slightly upsloped, and 20 mph back down. I weigh 215lbs. I can switch speed modes (after turning on, double tap the scooter on/off button), control lights(app) and lock the scooter(app). Compared to the unmodified scooter, acceleration feels unchanged, but top speed increased 3-4 mph. Hope this helps.

Not sure how it happened, but segway app stalled at 47%, so I tried the Xiao flasher app. The Xiao app failed to flash, so I just clicked on the UK 30kmh option. Only obvious thing I noticed was the original mph indicated on the dash changed to kmh..
I went for a ride and hit 30kmh! I don't think any of my firmware versions changed. I'll leave the explanation to more technical members, lol. I just hope I can duplicate it tommorow on my 2nd scooter.

Oh wow. Ya please let us know. That will be nice to do all of those without changing anything on the hardware..

So can you also change the speed modes on app?

Does it connect to the Segway app? If not, you may need another dash.

That is interesting, are you controlling the lights through the official Segway app?

Yes, I can play with the lights, cruise, regenerative energy, and lock the scooter on the segway app. Changing to mph from kmh required the nine dash app, although the reverse works on the segway app.
Note, my scooters have evidence of light use if that means anything. Renewed differently?

Nah, many of us received it in like-new condition. Some individuals also had it set to km/h by default when they received it, but also had issues like many, so not too sure if switching it to km/h is a trick? Maybe it has to be done through xiao flasher.

Sorry, didn't intend to suggest the kmh to mph switch affected anything. Was relating that changing the region to UK - 30kmh on the Xiaoflash app revealed no initial obvious changes other than the change on my dash. Otherwise I might not had known anything changed at all. Mine was in mph by default on arrival.
Btw, multiple attempts to update firmware still stop at 47%, so no firmware or hardware changes at all.
I'll update tomorrow when I try the second scooter.

Okay guys VERY IMPORTANT, if you want that 22mph you need to set throttle to current based algo when you go to customize firmware, but be careful it becomes real jumpy

Ah, got it. This may be an alternative to those who just want access to different speed modes and derestricted speed instead of purchasing another dash if their stock dash has BT enabled already.

It took me few days with so mant conflicting information to get this scooter to full potential so to save others time and money here is a quick write up on how to:
1-order a fresh dashboard on amazon this is what i ordered: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TSNV...UTF8&psc=1 , but they areall over ebay and amazon you don't need 50 bucks oem, it is so easy to install and many youtube videos on how tom you need a security bit to unscrew the handle bars. You can get a set here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q21R...YFbTCRQVJ3

2- once the dash is installed, download the xiaoflasher app from google play store spelled exactly like this.

3-go to https://esx.cfw.sh/. If you know what your doing, then you can go ahead and do it, if you dont, do what i did to avoid killing yourself or the scooter. Input the following settings:
A-presets:ES4.
B-basics: select DRV139 from drop down, leave the rest alone.
C-power &speed:
- drag the slider to 51000, to stay on the safe side.
-Max speed set it to max unless you want it slower
-Motor start speed: 2kmh
-Kers: if you dont wanr to die like i almost did select KERS/12 ("freewheel") and MAKE SURE NO KERS box is unchecked.
4-advanced:leave everything alone except last one, check the box "current based throttle algorithm." Withour this your scooter won't go past 16 mph.

lastly here hit finished time to cook and select xiaoflasher as your app, download the zip file to youe phone where you can find it or to youe computer and send to your phone somehow.

Go to xiaoflasher app,
1-hit the plug logo which will show your scooter if you installed the dash correctly and powered the scooter up. Once you are connected, and scooter beeps, click on select zip file then find the file you downloaded from instructions above.

2-hit flash selected zip file, DONT MESS with anything else yet, and stay next to your scooter obviously until its done.

3- once its done turn scooter off and back on, go back to the xiaoflasher app and connect to your scooter again.

4- if your scooter original serial that showed on top of the app or stamped on bottom of your scooter is N2GRK1841CXXXX or almost the same as this. You need it replace it with N2GTX1601CXXXX. Replace xxxx with last 4 digits of your current serial. Step 5 is how you replace it

5- go to "change region" and hit custom. Wait for the counter if u dont want to donate. Type in the new serial from above N2GTX1601Cxxxx. Replace xxxx with last 4 of your serial.

Hit submit and flash the new serial.

You are done your scooter will now ride smoothly , switch between modes and go rocket speed aka 23mph or more.
