Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

Received my scoot yesterday. Love the feel! Its quick! Front brakes take some getting used to. Rear brake is just ok.

Anyone actually test how far this will go on a charge? Flat roads with normal acceleration.

So far so good, great price and looked like new when I got it.

It's better just to test the mileage out yourself, too many variables. Someone earlier stated they only got 10 miles, but didn't mention they were going top speed during that time.

I unpacked my second one that apparently was free and we assembled it - it turns on with the beep, shows the dash and then the rear light flashes a few times. Unfortunately, it doesn't go (after the 2mph speed is reached) and in addition, the LEDs don't flash underneath and the headlight doesn't turn on.

Am hoping that with the dash that arrives on Friday, I'll be able to revive this one. Does anyone have any suggestions for reviving it besides replacing the dash? We disassembled it and checked the connections on the neck to the board, as well as checked the prongs - all checks out with no frayed or bent wires.

Thanks.

if you want stock firmware, you don't need to follow any steps, just install the dash, go to the segway app and update firmware. if you want to unlock the mode switching which is kinda locked you need to update the serial like i mentioned in this thread earlier.
Thanks for your response and help. I do want to be able to change modes (slow it down mainly) so my son can ride easier. I'm assuming this means I need to go through the serial number update? Is the process just connect via BT through Xiao flasher and that's where you change serial number?

What do you mean free? Walmart refunded you because it wasn't actually delivered? That happened to me before and they ended up charging my CC when it finally arrived.

Can someone explain to me how the brake system works. I know there is one on the handle, what is the regenerative system? Which one should I use?

it applies the e-brake (level depends on your app's setting) when you're coasting to recharge the battery a bit. There's also the rear one where you just step on the guard.

Correct. A couple of us have the same issue with the battery not showing real-time charge percent. I bought 2 scooters and neither connect to Bluetooth and neither update battery charge in real-time and must be powered off and back on to see the real percentage.
I have same issue with battery percentage as well. Have you found a way to fix it?

Nope. I only paid/ordered for one (checked by CC and walmart.com account) and for some reason, I received a second one. First one arrived Saturday and second one arrived Tuesday unexpectedly.

Just let it charge. Mine does the same thing, but the charger does quit charging once it hits 100%.

yes you can update the serial on xiaoflasherr where it says region, then click custom and input the serial you want to put in, i mentioned previously what serial should go in there ,it took pulling teeth on fb group to get a what a serial should change to.

Charged mine up last night and the number it got to on the scooter was 85 and never went above that. When I checked the app it said it was at 100% charge. Any idea what could be going on? Should I be concerned that 15% of the battery cells don't charge?

I've been researching options for locking the scooter on the street and found this article.

https://www.howtobecomealocksmith...-scooters/

Wondering if any other SDers have found better options for keeping this steal of the year from being stolen?
