Experience greater power, range, and speed. With an internal and external lithium ion battery, ES4-800 has a top speed of nearly 15.5 mph and a range of up to 28 miles. The bar for high-performance e-scooters has been raised.

If you're getting a replacement OEM dashboard from eBay or Amazon, perhaps check and make sure that the C15 capacitor has been removed so that you'll get bluetooth reset functionality. Seems like a lot of vendor use the same set of images over and over, but never hurts to ask for a photo of the circuit board if the seller is responsive.

anyone done a range test. was out of juice after 10 miles today. 185 pounds.
On my M365, I get about 8 miles realistic going full speed up and down on the hills in San Francisco at 160lbs. Given the ES4 battery stats being ~40% higher, I'd expect this to go around 11-14 miles realistic under the same loads (I think it's a bit more efficient than the M365). IMO 28 miles is unrealistic, simulated numbers, with a 90lb person on a perfectly flat, smooth surface going 50% throttle.

Full throttle?

I believe it may come with a 60 day one or something, but I don't think it's that great compared to the one through Allstate you purchase through Walmart. It's $22 and covers everything.
yes full throttle

They probably borrowed some ideas from their high-school physics class.

Ninebot: "When traveling on a fiction-less surface, free of gravitational forces..."

End-User: "Wait, in that scenario, wouldn't it just need a small push and it'll go forever?"

Ninebot: "Nope. 28 miles."

Yeah, that's why, as with every other product, the max mileage is under more controlled conditions, you'll likely see 20 or so if you were going 10 mph.

Are you just able to connect to the app? Can you update the FW at all or does it fail at 47%?

**** WARNING ****

I was just riding down a hill, the scooter beeped and then the power cut. Killing the brakes. Luckily it was not a busy road, but as soon as the power cut the scooter picked up speed. I was able to coast to a stop at the bottom of the hill. Be super careful with these things folks.

Is this the only thing we need? To make it fully functional? Like any future updates should work fine?

That's scary, but did you know of the manual brake on the back wheel? You stomp it.

Also, does your scooter still work? I've heard of ES4s blowing a fuse when going down hill.

Has anyone taken the four screws off the square plate on the handlebars? Wondering if it was a mount or covering access to a hot lead? If it was a mount, might be able to modify for a phone mount, if it is a lead, might be able to wire something up, or ignore it and use it as a phone mount.

Got it tonight. Went together well and it's charging.

Anyone know what the flat plate on the handlebar with 4 screws is? The GPS tracker? Can we use these in some way?

Also, has anyone peeled the sticker? The edges of mine are coming up, so considering just peeling it, if it will come cleanly
Did you ever figure out what the plate is for?
