Bambu in full panic mode knowing these will be unsellable very soon. So much competition puts this to shame for the price.

Everything being released now has multiple tool heads and bigger print area.

Wait for Snapmaker U1 reviews. It's cheaper than this. And would waste a lot less material.

Reviews are already in, seems like a great printer. Only problem it's still in Kickstarter.

I hope they lower pricing in H2S as well. I could see the X1C continuing to drop unless they are willing to lower cost on P1S as well.

For the non-experienced user, Bambu X1C is an excellent printer and ecosystem with almost all parts replaceable at a reasonable cost. For reference -my first printer was a creality cr-10 that I spent two years and over $1000 trying to get it to work.
Most people don't want the printer itself to be the hobby. They are getting better, cheaper and easier to use and learn. I compare it to the Iphone of printers - fairly intuitive even if it's a bit older tech. It's also enclosed, which helps with noise, humidity issues and some filament off gassing.
I've had my X1C for 2.5 years and it has been stellar. I have various nozzles from .2 to .6, but haven't tried the .8 yet. I mostly print Star Wars droids for cons, larger models and useful things, like frog ladders for my pool.
I use the AMS to change filament for large prints, not for color. The AMS 2 does driy filament, which my V1 doesnt. However, the Sunlu dryer attachment is cheaper so I pre-ordered it instead of upgrading to the 2.
The only downside I've seen has been the elitist jerks, hardcore fanboys and extreme haters in social media - but for every one of them, you find at least 4-5 of us that simply enjoy it's ease of use.

Everything.............such as.....? Hell its 256x256x256 which is right in line with competition.

Look, I'm just gonna say it -- you're highly exaggerating right now, and Bambu doesnt have a ton of competition. You make this sound like a cut-throat industry. It's the opposite. Maybe tone that statement down a bit, because it's basically false.

AMS 2 is worth it, even though it still has the same problems like not working with cardboards and jams when your roll is too empty or lightweight or your filament is not dry enough.

Bought this same combo for $1369 during their anniversary sale a couple months ago so a little sad it's dropped this much. But I have printed a lot of stuff since then and I love it. Yes there are other printers coming out but for $1100 this is still solid. Get the hub over the buffer if you are going to even have the slightest chance of adding another AMS in the future, it's worth the $20 now instead of paying way more later.

The AMS2 is a subpar heater as proven by tons of reviews. The P1S is the same size printer and supports better aftermarket heater addons to the AMS standard. Snapmaker multi tool head beats this. Bambus released multi tool heads will replace these once they sell them out and clear inventory. Creality already offers bigger prints at a better price. Any other questions?

Nobody is using an X1C for what it was made to be used for. They use it to print multi filament waste. Every printer released this year does that better and faster and with less waste. Everything release this year is multihead with no waste and bigger print beds. This is a bad price for a product that is being cleared out at a price that isn't low enough when the P1S is noticeably cheaper and fully as capable.
