21% of reviews are 1-Star. That means 1 in 5 customers have had such a bad experience that they gave the lowest possible rating on this product.

The price is SO good for a dehumidifier but it is a no name brand with that 1-Star review spike being a big red flag. An awesome price on a questionable product isn't a slick deal. It's gambling.

In for one. Last one I paid like $200 for, will see how it goes. Going to put the name brand one in the attic and this one in the basement so if it leaks it'll go to the drain.

this is an insane deal for this size of a dehumidifier. I feel like I should almost buy one as a backup because of their on average shorter lifespan in general for dehumidifiers

Can you get extended warranty? If not, maybe not worth it. Dehumids can be hit or miss, per SD.

Definitely an insane price. As others have noted, reviews reflect the price. I could use one but staying away.

Great deal but I am gonna pass because of Woot and no name brand. What is going to happen when it stops after 3-6 months?

I had one of these on the shopping list, hoping for a deal... but this one, not only are there a lot of 1 star reviews, but most of them are the most recent reviews saying it failed and that there is no way to get support. I would rather put $70 (w/ tax) towards a unit that has a warranty that will be honored, with higher odds it will last >3 months.

Don't know. I got 2 Mideas from AMZN open box $120-190, they have been great. More silent than older Frigidaire that needed new capacitor after 7 years of use. I have understood that there is only one factory making all dehumidifiers, each just having bit different case and possible pump or not. ordered one for a backup
