Must be user error. My wife and I have last years stylus. We usually get a day or two of very heavy use. When I'm working and lightly using my phone, I can go 3-4 days easily.

I've read this several times about the 2025 but I've also read that if you give it a while to learn your use habits it gets much better.

My 2024 stylus lasts 1.3 days with pretty heavy use

Am I reading this wrong, or is this the 4G model, not the 5G?

iPhones 15s can't take any low light pictures. I know my wife and friends pros were useless at night in Paris. I mean couldn't do anything.
My Moto Stylus 2024 took perfect pictures night an day with Gcam.
Gcam BSG Stable BSG 9.3 MGC_9.3.160_V34 (BSG, 2025-06-07 http://www.celsoazevedo.com/files...a/dev-bsg/ . There are a lot of buggier updates but I just use the stable versions which are highlighted in bold Red. The newest stable version has all the features that we could want on our Moto phones.
Really only changed exposure compensation to +4 in the rear camera settings. That is for indoor shots "pixels" seem to take darker photos
This should be similar

I picked up the 128 from the metro offer. Reading this thread I feel like I'm getting ripped off. The phone seems fine to me. It's snappy. Has a sd slot. But OS does a lot but in a mediocre way. Can't complain for $65. I just use it as a media server. I use a iPhone 15PM as a daily driver. I'll eventually commit to Android in a few years when the pixel shrinks the bezels.

"OS in a mediocre way"?
Motorola always had solid clean user interface. The junk apps can be uninstalled. Sure the processor isn't on par with an iPhone 15 A16 bionic chip or my Pixel 9a Tensor G4 but in real world use, the experience is so much like a Pixel. Very fast and snappy similar to Pixel experience. What is the biggest PRO? The 6.7" nice display makes it more enjoyable with chrome and YouTube over a small 6.1" tiny display. Plus it is much easier to type. It also has a 1600 mAh larger battery, 65w wired charging vs 15w Apple wired charging, micro SD support, Smart Connect that includes desktop mode, headphone jack, etc... As for camera? I am not a camera freak. I love my Pixel camera and think it is the best but I am happy with my Samsung, my Motorola and my iPhone cameras. Phone cameras are so good nowadays especially with the mid-range phones. Gaming? I don't do heavy gaming. Software support? 2 system update and 3 years of security is respectable even though it isn't on the level of Pixel or Samsung. I change phones like 2 years. I can't see myself using any phone for 5 years especially with battery wear and just bored with a phone.

To my surprise, I read about the less than stellar battery life before I got the Motorola G Stylus 2025. I was concerned because I always had solid battery life from my Motorola G Stylus 2020 and 2025. I was expecting to be disappointed with the battery. I am not. I am fine with it.
I think lot of people don't use battery saving tips like using dark mode, turning off Bluetooth when not needed, turn off data (I have unlimited data but I still turn off data when not needed), turn off unnecessary notifications, etc. Do people have lot of unnecessary apps running in the background? I always use battery saving tips on all my phones so I go way beyond a day. 2 full days is normal for me with daily drivers. The last time I checked my Stylus 2025 I had 3 hours and 44 minutes screen time and my battery was at 78%. I don't game.
Let's not forget this has 68w wired charging, wireless charging and lot of solid battery saving toggles like battery saver, adaptive battery, optimized charging, overcharge protection, etc.. If someone has poor battery life, they aren't using the basic battery saving tips.
With my iPhones? I used battery life saving tips and I was always disappointed. Poor battery life! Powerful processor with tiny size battery.

Currently typing with this model. Bought it almost 4 months ago. It's an okay phone. Battery life is decent. I use the smart charge option and bought turbo charger so I do like the fast charging option. However it is slow at times when switching between apps and loading a screen. Doesn't happen all the time but it does happen. I bought it because my galaxy broke and wanted to have a phone that will hold me for a few months to year depending on the upcoming models. Photos are not the best but can't expect too much at the price point. They sometimes come out saturated and the item does not look like it actually did in real life. It depends on lighting.

Please. There are plenty of Android model phones that have great cameras. The Galaxy S series and the Google Pixel series to name a few.
This isn't one of them

Every Moto I've owned has the worst camera. Even my 1998 Nokia took better pictures.
this is so true, 'zoom' on Motorola is almost non-existent, so pixelated

Probably dumb question, but this isn't in the same league as Galaxy S, correct?
I'll get downvoted, but I like my Moto 2024 stylus better than my Galaxy s22 Ultra and my Pixel 8.

You put Gcam on this it will take as good a picture as a pixel at least as far as my Stylus 2024 goes not kidding or fooling. I have an old pixel and this is just as good. Sylus 2024 and this have hardware image stabilization which make a world of difference.
The only thing this is missing picturewise is a telephoto zoom lense.

I like my 2021 256GB version better than my Pixel 6 or Galaxy S10 (i know those are older, but my stylus is still serving me well, so i haven't upgraded). I bought the others for good deals as backups in case the mid Stylus 5G's screen broke (cuz lots of comments said it was easy to break, but mine has held up fine, even during a couple scary drops). I gave the Galaxy to my mom, cuz her S7 finally broke a couple years ago.

No MicroSD card for that phone.
